  The definition of the word Solivagant is a solitary wanderer.
  Last year, I wrote a note and stuck it on the wall of my office where I could see it - that part of the promotion for my EP would be, "I'm a rambling broken heart." I'm not sure if I knew the word Solivagant yet, but when I came upon it, it fit perfectly. Life has a way of showing you what you need when you least expect it.
  
  This summer, I realized it was time to break out on my own in this big city of New York and explore the sounds that have been bubbling up inside me. I also knew it was time for me to share a more vulnerable side of myself. Well, life showed up, hit me over the head and broke my heart, and I said to myself, now's the time.
  
  On September 11th, I went into the studio with Ian to record the song we'd been playing for some years now and finally finished the year prior. I listen to the song to see when it'll be finished. This one took longer than I thought it should've. The process to finish the other two songs was organized and efficient. I had the honor of calling some of my favorite musicians and favorite people to play on this record, and when I tell you, I couldn't be happier with these songs, I really couldn't.
  
  I'm also ecstatic that YOU took the time out to come here and listen to these songs too! The goal is to make you feel something, and I hope they do. Feelings are not always comfortable or convenient, but they are something that I've learned I must face in order to be the best person I want to be.
