This song was written during my Artist residency at Jamaica Center for Arts and Learning in April of 2017. I was really feeling someone, and I didn't know if they were going to ever be single - so I just loved, really lusted from afar. The year before I saw an exhibit at the Rock and Roll Museum in Cleveland that had, I think it was James Taylor and Carly Simon. And it was truly a love affair. It didn't feel like it needed to be forever, but forever was each day for them. I took that with me, probably because of the rocky relationships I had been in, and wondering if that was the way to go. And so came this song.
